PROJECT HISTORY
Located in La Luisa Blanca, Province of Monte Plata, in the Dominican Republic, [18°45’53” N – 69°51’40” W], an eminently agricultural area, recognized for the production of coconut, pineapple, cocoa, livestock, African palms, among others
Our location guarantees excellent access roads and connections to reach the main ports, airports [Las Américas and Punta Cana] and urban centers of Santo Domingo.

OUR PURPOSE
Currently, HACIENDA EL LAGO has 459 hectares, under GLOBAL GAP certification, planted with more than 50,000 Chactemal Hybrid Coconut plants (a cross between the High Pacific Coconut Tree and the Malaysian Yellow Dwarf).

PROJECTION OF PRODUCTION
We project starting in 2025 to install our plant to begin selling coconut by-products.
MODERN AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES AND CLIMATE
Our planting system is staggered (8 x 8 meters between plants), where three plants form an equilateral triangle, allowing each plant to receive the required hours of light to develop an optimal growth.
The temperature in the area where the project is located ranges between 19 and 32 degrees Celsius, characterized by long, hot days and a high level of rainfall.
Taking as a reference the production achieved in similar projects in Mexico and considering the climatic advantages of the area, the hours of daily light, as well as our modern fertigation system, the rigorous phytosanitary and nutritional controls, we seek to obtain a productivity greater than 180 fruits per plant/year.
An added value of our project is that our coconut plantation contributes to the regeneration of land that was previously dedicated to extensive cattle ranching.

Commercialization of fresh local and imported agricultural products, (garlic, beans, potatoes, onions, among others), rental of spaces at controlled temperature/humidity and production of highly genetic cattle
